• From 20 microns to 60 microns in 5 µm increments.

Sub-base with Practical Displacement

The sub-base of the Crux Microtome moves forwards and backwards to accommodate disposable knife holders for paraffin, resin and permanent knives. With a high and low profile knife holder, this equipment guarantees safety and ease of use.

Easy and Secure Sampling

The vise-type specimen holder allows for a quick change of cassettes, making it suitable for specimens measuring 55×55 mm. The sample orientation device operates on the X and Y axes, with an angulation range of 8 to 360 degrees, promoting precise and reliable cuts.

Fast grinding and fine adjustment

Equipped with a fine adjustment handwheel, the Crux Microtome offers extreme lightness and safety with a lock in any position. The rapid grinding mechanism is triggered at the end of each cycle of the side lever, allowing for an efficient and risk-free process.
